The state of Telangana has seen bumper rains in the last 24 hours. Moreover, during the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Hanamkonda recorded 242 mm of rain while Khammam saw 199 mm of rainfall, Ramgundam 136 mm, Adilabad 107 mm, Nizamabad 57 mm, Medak 49 mm, Hyderabad 47 mm.
Today also, heavy to very heavy rains may continue over the state wherein the southern regions may see some heavier showers as compared to the northern parts. The city of Hyderabad may also see heavy to extremely heavy showers.
Cities of North Interior Bidar, Raichur, Bellary and Vijayanagar of North Interior Karnataka may also see some heavy showers.
By tomorrow, raims will reduce as the system will move a little away from the state. By the day after tomorrow, rainfall activity will reduce even further resulting in relief.
