The state of Uttarakhand has many visitors flocking the state during the Navratri season. The state is likely to observe good weather conditions until the Navratri celebrations. Today and tomorrow, there may be only isolated weather activity and otherwise good weather conditions.
However, after Dussehra, significant weather is coming up including widespread, heavy and intense rains. These showers are expected to peak on the 7th and 8th, causing severe weather conditions.
The state of Uttarakhand is divided into two parts where in the eastern part is called Kumaon region, while western part is the Garhwal region
The weather activity will begin from the Kumaon region, i.e. on October 6. Meanwhile, the Garhwal region will start to see weather from October 7. Both the regions will see intense weather activities on both October 7 and 8.
Kumaon region including Pithoragarh, Almora, Nainital, Bageshwar etc. will see good showers while Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Uttarkashi in the Garhwal region will also experience good rains.
