Uttarakhand: Cloud bursts in Chamoli and Almora, one killed due to rain, no relief likely ahead

The mountainous range of Uttarakhand is currently getting affected by a stream of southeasterly winds blowing over the region across the foothills of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Along with this, the Western Disturbance is also enhancing the situation.

On Sunday evening, in the wake of intense rains and flash floods, many disruptions occurred over parts of Uttarakhand. Cloud damage in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand has resulted in heavy loss to property.

In fact, one person known to be Ram Singh was missing after a cloudburst incident in the Kheda area of Almora district. Along with him three of his cattle were also missing. Along with this, reports about several people missing have also come out.

There was also hail in many places in the Garhwal region. On the other side, dust storms and strong winds in the plains made trouble for the people. In the hills, the rain has experienced some coolness in the plain areas.

Now in the coming days also similar weather conditions will be observed over the hills of North India especially Uttarakhand, as the weather conditions are still favorable for such mishappening. People should stay alert and take precautions to avoid any such disruption in their day to day life.
