The state of Gujarat has received some unseasonal rainfall activity. Light rains had been seen in parts of Gujarat including Dwarka 8 mm, Ahmedabad 0.9 mm, Naliya 0.7 mm.
Rains are expected to be seen today and tomorrow as well. The spread and the intensity of rains will increase today covering parts of Saurashtra as well as Gujarat region. Tomorrow, rains will reduce but some light rains cannot be ruled out.
Temperatures due to clouding and some rains have resulted in minimums settling in the late teens which were previously settling in the single digit.
The induced Cyclonic Circulation over Rajasthan and adjoining areas is getting moisture feed from the Arabian Sea, with winds being southwesterlies, resulting in these rainfall activities.
