Unseasonal rains over Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh to cease

December 15, 2022 8:37 PM |

The states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra have been seeing unseasonal rains for the past couple of days. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Aurangabad recorded 36 mm of rains, Nashik 16 mm, Khargone 14 mm, Betul 13 mm, Khandwa 11 mm, Chhindwara 10 mm, Akola 6 mm and Buldana 4 mm.

There was a depression in the Arabian Sea and an anti cyclone over the central parts . The confluence of these two winds have resulted in the rains that occurred over Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Now, the system is moving away and will also weaken further. Thus, rains will completely reduce.

Today, rain intensity and spread will be less. Thereafter, general improvement is expected and tomorrow, only isolated rains will be seen. After that, no rains will be seen and weather will remain dry for at least ten days.
