Unseasonal rains all set to lash Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand

Unseasonal rains are once again set to make an appearance over Central and East India once again between February 18 and 20. These weather activities will start with central and eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh on February 18.

Thereafter, on February 19 and 20, rain belt will cover northern parts of Chhattisgarh adjoining Jharkhand as well. For Chhattisgarh, cities like Ambikapur while cities of Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dumka and Pakud. Rains will be more over Jharkhand region.

The reason for these activities is linked to the series of Western Disturbances moving across the northern parts, which are mild in nature between February 16 and February 22. These systems will push the anti Cyclone towards the east, resulting in convergence of winds, furthermore resulting in rains over these regions.
