The state of Rajasthan has seen some rainfall activities in the past 24 hours. While winter rains are mostly seen over the northern parts, this time it has been the southern and the eastern regions that have seen good rainfall activities being moderate in nature.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Bundi recorded a good 24 mm of rains, Chittorgarh 24 mm, Kota 23 mm, Udaipur 13 mm, and Bhilwara 14 mm.
These rainfall activities are well above the normal levels and can be termed as unprecedented rainfall for this region. The monthly average rains in December for most parts of East and South Rajasthan stands in single digit. Daily averages on the other hand are way less.
Moreover, these areas of the state have not received so much rains just in the month of December, that too in a span of 24 hours, in the last decade or so.
Talking about the rainfall forecast for this area, some light rains are expected today as well. However, from tomorrow, some clearance is expected in terms of rainfall activities.
