The national weather bureau is constantly monitoring the low pressure area in the Arabian Sea, which will soon become a depression and even become a Cyclone in the coming days. The system is likely to have some effect in a couple of days.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an alert about the possibility of a Cyclone likely to form in the Arabian Sea.

Weather conditions will not be impacted in the United Arab Emirates soon, but it will have some effect in the middle of the week as the system may move towards Oman.

NCM guaranteed the public that it has been monitoring the conditions in the sea throughout and will keep providing updates to the public very soon. They have also asked people to go by the reports of the NCM and not go by floating rumors.

About a day before, moderate rain was recorded in Ras Al Khaimah while Masafi got light showers.

Following a foggy Sunday morning, fog was also seen on Monday morning in the western region of the nation. The skies will continue to remain partly cloudy.

It is too early to say as to what course will the system take and how further will it intensify, but if it does gain strength and move towards Oman, many parts of UAE may also get some rainfall activities.
