South India is all set to see the typical Pre Monsoon activities for the next four to five days. These rains will be attributed to the semi-permanent feature, Circulation over interior South Tamil Nadu and a Peninsular trough which keeps oscillating.
Not all areas will be seeing rain simultaneously and rainfall activity will not be too intense as well. Rains could be in some pockets for short durations but will be seen over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe.
Today also we can expect some isolated activity. Tomorrow also, rains will be light and at a few places. Even on March 30, the interiors will be seeing some rains similar to rains on March 28 and 29.
From April 1, scattered rains will be seen, covering more parts, lasting until April 3. Rains will remain mild and no intense rains will be seen during this period.
