The city of Mumbai has seen a reduction in rain in the past three days. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Santa Cruz recorded 10 mm of rains. Now, we do not expect typical heavy Mumbai rains over the commercial capital of the country.
A low pressure area is over Bay of Bengal and may become well marked. The system may reach Odisha and adjoining areas and may remain there. This may increase the surge which might result in m0derate showers today, tomorrow and on August 2.
After August 3, a long gap is expected to be seen wherein rains will be only light and remain far and few. Thus, we do not expect typical Mumbai rains to remain far away from the city.
