Twitterati reacts to the first snow of 2018

Year’s first snowfall that happened in the hills of North India yesterday brought cheers to the tourists who were flocking the hill spots. Snowfall occurred in the hills of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Tuesday with a few hill stations receiving it today morning as well.

After reeling under dry weather conditions for over a month, finally, the famous tourist hilltops like Shimla, Manali, Gulmarg, Dharamsala, Mussorie and Dhanualti observed snowflakes. In fact, Nainital received season’s first snow yesterday. Snowfall was also recorded in the famous Hindu Shrine Vaishno Devi.

The regions lying in the lower latitude also received widespread rains of varying intensity. The snowfall made the tourists fascinated who gathered out to enjoy the first snow of January. The visitors clicked a few pictures and shared them on various social media platforms.
