After being throttled by Cyclone Ockhi that unleashed torrential rains over the southern coastal regions of Kerala, the rainfall activity has now become silent. Almost the entire state has now become dry with the maximums varying between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius thereby making the days warmer.
However, the tables turned upside down and isolated places of the state recorded some light spells the past day. Within the span of 24 hours, from 08:30 am as on Tuesday, stations such as Alappuzha and Punalur recorded light rainy traces to the tune of 8 mm and 2 mm respectively.
