People in Bangalore have been waking up to dry and clear weather since the beginning of February. The capital of Karnataka did not witness any trace of rain in February and due to the absence of rain and persistent dry weather, mercury also kept rising in the city.

The last rains that drenched the city fell during the period between January 24 and January 27. It was due to a trough between Tamil Nadu and Kerala that gave scattered showers in the City of Garden.

Thereafter, due to an absence of any significant weather system, the weather across Bangalore went on to become dry again thereby leading to increase in temperatures. The maximums of the city are mostly settling above 30°C. In fact, even during last 24 hours, day’s high in Bangalore settled at 30.9°C which was one degree above normal.

As per Skymet Weather, the periods from January to February are the lean rainfall periods and rain mostly starts scaling up from the month of March. As of now also, not much changes in the prevailing weather pattern across Bangalore is expected and dry weather is likely to continue.

Hence, the state capital which is famous for its pleasant weather conditions throughout the year is all set to remain warm and dry.
