The hills of the Western Himalayas are experiencing pleasant weather conditions. Generally, over the Western Himalayas weather remains dry and warm during the month of June. But due to a Western Disturbance and a trough which is extending from Punjab to the Northeastern states along the foothills of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the weather pattern has got disturbed and hence rain, thundershower with squally winds are occurring over the Northern hills of India.
To experience the serene beauty of nature and a relaxing stay, this is the perfect time to move to the hills of North India. At present, frequencies of Western Disturbances is slightly higher, leading to frequent spells of rain and thundershower.

Hill stations of Uttarakhand including the queen of hills Mussoorie and the city of lakes Nainital are experiencing more rainfall in association with moist easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal.

These weather systems are likely to give more rains in the next 24-48 hours also. Further, the intensity will reduce but on and off light to moderate showers will continue for a week.
Hills of Manali and Shimla also experienced rains due to the combined weather systems and are likely to witness more rainfall in the coming days.
Meanwhile, rainfall activity over the hills of Vaishno Devi and Srinagar would be less in the coming days. Mainly cloudy sky will prevail and the weather condition will be pleasant across the northern hills.
