With a whopping 106 mm of rain, Alapuzha in Kerala topped the list of Skymet's rainiest cities on Tuesday. Southwest Monsoon remains active over Northeast India and Sub Himalayan West Bengal where Cherrapunji received 84 mm and Bagdogra 100 mm, respectively. According to the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, Northeast India will receive more showers in the coming days. The west coast and interiors of South India could also get some rain during next 24 hours.
