According to the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, heat wave worsened in Rajasthan on Tuesday with day temperatures rising to 46.8°C, the highest in the country as well as the highest in a decade in the desert town . Other places in Rajasthan like Churu, Ganganagar, Bikaner and places as far as Kota and Jaipur in east Rajasthan were also in the grip of heat wave like conditions.
