1. The famous tourist place of Mount Abu in Rajasthan recorded the coldest morning in March in last ten years. The minimum temperature on Monday morning settled at 3°C, six notches below normal. Earlier the lowest minimum recorded was 4°C, on 5th March, 2003.

2. Ludhiana on Sunday recorded the third coldest night in the month of March in the last ten years. The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4°C on Monday morning. This was the lowest minimum temperatures recorded in March in last ten years in Ludhiana after 6.8°C on 14th March, 2007 and 7°C on 2nd March, 2006.

3. Minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh's biggest city dropped to 7.8°C on Monday morning, five notches below normal. This was the coldest morning experienced in Kanpur during March in last 10 years along with the other lowest of 7.8°C recorded on 1st March, 2012.

4. Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh recorded a minimum temperature of 11.3°C on Monday morning, four degrees below normal. This is the third lowest temperature recorded in the last ten years during March. The other two lowest minimum temperatures are 9.4°C on 10th March, 2012 and 10°C on 2nd March, 2013.

5. Jabalpur recorded a minimum temperature of 11.8°C on Monday morning, three notches below normal. This is the second coldest March morning in Jabalpur in last ten years. The lowest minimum recorded in the city is 9.8°C on 10th March, 2012.
