1. On Monday morning Amritsar recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the plains at 4°C.

2. In the hills, Leh and Gulmarg recorded the lowest minimum temperatures at -9.3°C and -6°C respectively.

3. Bellary in Karnataka recorded the highest maximum temperature in the country on Sunday. It recorded 35.7°C which is just 1°C above the average for the month.

4. Jharsuguda in Odisha recorded 16 mm of rain from 8:30 am on Sunday till 8:30 am on Monday (24th of February). This is the second highest rainfall recorded in Jharsuguda after 47.7 mm recorded on 13th February, 2007.

5. Daltongunj in Jharkhand recorded 13.5 mm of rain from 8:30 am on Sunday till 8:30 am on Monday (24th February). This is the third highest rainfall recorded in Daltongunj in a span of 24 hours during February in last 10 years.
