During last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains occurred over West Bengal, and isolated pockets of Telangana, Gujarat and Bihar.
Good rains were also observed over many areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Scattered showers were observed over parts of Northeast India including Assam.
At present, Titlagarh in Odisha is the rainiest place in India with heavy rains of 187 mm.
