The hills of North India have been mostly seeing dry weather conditions as there has been no significant system prevailing over the area for a quite some time. However, now a cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab in the lower levels.
A fresh Western Disturbance is over Northeast Afghanistan and adjoining area which might affect the hills after 24 hours. At present, dry weather is prevailing over the area with clear sky conditions.
Meanwhile, cool and pleasant weather conditions are prevailing over the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Further, no major significant change is expected for the next 24 hours except partly cloudy sky over the regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
In the next 24 hours, minimums would rise over the hills of North India. Likewise, day temperature will also rise but drop thereafter making the days perfect for travelers.
Yesterday, maximum temperatures over Kullu remained at 26° C, Manali 20° C, Leh 10° C while Shimla saw maximums at 21° C.
In the coming days, higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will see dry and comfortable weather for the next 24 to 48 hours. However, a few clouds are expected to form during daytime.
For tourists, a pleasant and comfortable stay is expected in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and most parts of Jammu & Kashmir.
