The reason for these weather activities has been attributed to the presence of a Western Disturbance over the Western Himalayas which has induced a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and its adjoining areas.
Due to the change in weather pattern over the region, there has been some drop in the temperatures furthermore resulting in some relief from the ongoing weather conditions. Weathermen believe that this weather activity will be short lived, and weather will clear up by tomorrow. However, due to the presence of north-westerly winds, temperatures will not increase further. Nevertheless, maximums will still remain above the normal levels.
