The body of the third martyred soldier was retrieved today after special avalanche rescue team toiled inhospitable weather and fifteen feet of snow overnight.

Another series of avalanches were reported in Kaksar sector. Fortunately, all the affected soldiers were rescued successfully.

These weather conditions are attributed to the presence of a Western Disturbance prevailing over the Western Himalayas.
