Monsoon rain of varied intensity has been lashing the state of Madhya Pradesh for quite some time now. Moreover, the last 24 hours also saw good rains over many parts. Isolated pockets also saw some heavy rainfall activity, one such city was Hoshangabad.
In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Wednesday, Hoshangabad observed three digit rains to the tune of 162 mm.
Currently, the axis of Monsoon Trough is over North Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring areas with the Low Pressure being over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh.
With this, more rains will continue to lash the state of Madhya Pradesh. However, rainfall activity will witness a reduction as compared to the past 24 hours.
However, parts including Mandla, Hoshangabad, Betul, Seoni, Khandwa, and Khargone may see some rains which will continue until September 14.
