Monsoonhas finally arrived inMumbai. On Saturday morning Mumbai woke up to an overcast sky along with fresh spell of Monsoon rains. As per the prediction by Skymet Weather, the cyclonic circulation prevailing in Arabian Sea off Karnataka and Goa coast has shifted towards northwards along the coast. This has led to the development of convective clouds over South Mumbai, leading to rain and thundershowers.
It is reported that it rained 37 mm or rainfall in the span of three hours from 08:30am to 11:30am this morning. More spell of rains is expected over the city, and the maximum city is leaving no stones unturned to show its love for the Monsoon like rains. Twitter is bombarded with #MonsoonRains.
