During the last 48 hours, many parts of Uttar Pradesh have been recording light rain and thundershower activities. But, the intensity of rain and thundershowers have increased in the past 24 hours as moderate showers were observed in the eastern as well as central parts of Uttar Pradesh.
At present, a trough is extending from Punjab up to Bihar across Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, today we expect moderate rain with one or two heavy spells associated with strong surface winds in the western as well as central parts of the state. While a few places in the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh may also observe light to moderate rains during the same episode.
In the wake of this wet spell, the day temperatures are expected to observe a fall by four to five degrees.
According to our meteorologists, we expect these weather activities to continue today. And, tomorrow also, many parts of Uttar Pradesh are expected to observe fairly widespread rain and thundershowers.
By tomorrow's late evening hours, the weather activities will start reducing. Only the central, as well as eastern districts, will continue to observe on and off rain and thundershowers that will further continue until the morning of March 15.
By the evening of March 15, the entire state of Uttar Pradesh will observe dry weather conditions. The maximum temperatures will start rising leading to warm and sunny weather conditions.
