However, moderate winds from the Arabian Sea have been blowing over Coastal Maharashtra including Mumbai. Due to these moisture incursion winds, the city of dreams is able to record some light spells. Though these rains will be patchy in nature and will not cover a larger area. Due to the absence of any significant weather system and an inactive offshore trough along the West Coast, widespread heavy falls are not anticipated for the next couple of days.

In the wake of absence of rains, the mercury level is also expected to shoot up and settle in mid-30. Due to the moisture incursion winds from the Arabian Sea, Mumbaikars will have to deal with humid and sultry weather. But, short term relief due to patchy rains can be expected.
