The 7th Vibrant Gujarat Summit Begins Amidst Pleasant Weather Conditions

Modi at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, 2015The 3 day long Vibrant Gujarat Summit has begun today amidst pleasant weather conditions. The 7th investors summit being held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon also graced the occasion with his presence.

More than 2,500 international delegates from over 150 countries have turned up for this global event. Also, from the United Kindom alone, 60 British companies along with around 100 delegates including the CEO of the telecom carrier Vodafone, Vittorio Collao also marked their presence at the Gujarat Summit.

With pleasant days and slightly colder nights, the weather conditions in the city are at its best during this period. According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, pleasant weather conditions are likely to continue for the next couple of days. The maximum temperature will hover around late 20's whereas the minimums will be slightly chilly with temperatures around 10 – 14°C.

The focus sectors include the Healthcare Industry, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Tourism Industry, Environmental Concerns and others. Some of the important events include the Vibrant Gujarat Summit Innaugural Function, Vibrant Gujarat Khadi Utsav, Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, Vibrant Gujarat Gems and Jewellery Exhibition, Reverse Buyer Seller Meet, Vibrant Kutch Expo & Summit and a few others.

Delegates can also visit the 3 month long Rann Utsav, which started on December 1, 2015 and is scheduled till March 7, 2015. The carnival of dance, music and culture amidst the natural beauty of the white rann is not too far away from Gandhinagar.
