These weather conditions have been attributed to the offshore trough which is running along the West Coast from South Gujarat Coast up to Lakshadweep region. As per weathermen at Skymet, these rains will continue for at least the next 24 to 48 hours. The possibility of a few very heavy spells cannot be ruled out.
