Temperatures to slightly increase over Northwest India

Since the last few days the Northwestern states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are experiencing dry weather conditions. Days are comfortable, and nights are cooler.

However, during morning and evening hours, smoke and haze are being experienced. In the afternoon, weather is a little warmer.

Since, weak Western Disturbances are moving across higher latitudes, hence dry weather conditions will continue their affect over these states for the next 24 hours. Also, no significant change in weather pattern is expected over Northwest Plains during the next 24 hours.

Thereafter, after 24 hours, the winds are likely to change as Easterlies will start blowing over the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Easterlies will be slightly warmer. Hence, night temperatures are likely to increase significantly on November 27 and November 28.

The sky conditions will become partly cloudy during this period.

Presently, day’s maximum temperatures are between 27 to 29 degree and night temperatures are varying between 10 to 12 degree. Moreover, no significant change in this pattern is in sight during the next 36 hours.
