As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, on November 12 Hyderabad recorded minimum temperature at 14.9 °C. Though it increased marginally on November 13 Adilabad in Telangana recorded the minimum temperature at 9°C and Medak 13.3°C in the same span of time.

These unusual cool temperatures are due to the persistent flow of northerly winds over the region. However, a western disturbance is affecting northern plains and a well-marked Low-Pressure area is moving along the east coast therefore dry and cool northerly winds will get cut off by warm and humid easterly and southeasterly winds from the Bay of Bengal.
Therefore we expect a gradual increase in minimum temperatures once again over the entire state of Telangana. In the next two to three days it is anticipated that the minimum temperatures will rise by two to four degree Celsius.
Usually, in Telangana minimum temperatures do not fall to such an extent. Normally winter chill sets in December and January in Telangana. But this year, the winter chill is already been felt by most parts of the state.
