Maximum temperatures dropped around 3°C to 5°C, while minimum temperatures took a dip of 2°C to 4°C across Gujarat. The significant drop in both the minimums and maximums can be attributed to the change in the wind pattern. At present, cool northerly winds are blowing over the region.

With the change in the weather conditions, the day temperatures have stabilized and are settling near normal at many places. However, the minimums are still settling above normal by 2°C to 4°C.
As per weathermen, the day temperatures are not likely to witness a significant change in the coming three to four days and would hover around 30°C. Warm and humid weather would be felt during the afternoon hours. Humidity also would persist due to the upcoming weather system over Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures will see a change in the trend, as mercury would rise in the next three to four days. The rise in minimums will be due to the change in winds once again, which would be due to the upcoming weather system over Rajasthan.
