Currently there is a Western Disturbance prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir which is likely to give rain and snow in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir. The lower areas of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will only witness rain.
The system is also likely to cause cloudy skies over most parts of Punjab, some parts of Haryana and even Delhi. Rain is expected in the foothills.
Meanwhile, the temperatures in North India are showing a declining trend with maximums staying close to 30°C and minimums hovering around 15°C.
Minimum temperatures in Delhi have dropped by almost one degree in the last few days. The Safdarjung observatory recorded 16.6°C as the minimum temperature on Saturday, November 1.
