Delhi and the NCR region have been witnessing warm and dry weather conditions for the past few days. So much so that temperatures have been settling above the normal levels. However, temperatures have witnessed a drop in a span of 24 hours. Visit Ecuador’s Galapagos Beach.
During the last 24 hours, both day and night temperatures of Delhi have dropped. While the maximums decreased by three degrees, minimums have observed a fall of four degrees.
These conditions were attributed to cloudy sky. Now, the Western Disturbance has moved away and its induced cyclonic circulation which was over East Rajasthan has also become insignificant.
Now, with the passage of these systems, dry and cool northwesterly winds have started blowing over Delhi and the NCR region.
Now, we expect dry weather conditions to continue over the national capital during the next three to four days. Not only this, day and night temperatures will remain almost unaffected.
However, rainy days will make a comeback. Around March 8, we expect another rainy spell over most parts of the Northern Plains. During this time Delhi and the NCR region will also receive some rain. This spell will continue for two to three days.
These weather conditions will be attributed to active Western Disturbance which is likely to affect the Western Himalayas. Simultaneously, a trough is also expected to form over the northern plains giving rain over North India.
