Temperature in Delhi to rise, to touch 47, heatwave to persist

Delhi has been reeling under extremely uneasy weather conditions for the past many days. In fact, heatwave conditions also prevailed in few pockets of Delhi. The scorching heat has increased so much that it is unbearable for residents to move out of their homes.

The temperatures are touching new heights every day. As on May 25, Palam observatory in Delhi recorded its maximum temperature at 45.4°C. In the same time, Safdarjung recorded its maximum at 43.6°C.

As per Skymet Weather, both maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to rise further over Delhi and adjoining regions of Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad.  In fact, there chances of severe heat wave conditions to develop in pockets of Delhi and NCR are high as the maximum temperature may touch 47°C.

The night temperatures are also likely to observe an increase is expected to touch 29°C. As both the maximum and minimum temperatures are on high, hot day conditions are expected to prevail. Hot day conditions prevail when the variation of temperatures is very less.

Hot weather conditions are prevailing due to the dry and hot northwesterly winds which are blowing over Delhi and NCR. In fact, there is no significant weather system in close vicinity to Delhi, thus weather is extremely uneasy.

As per weathermen, isolated dust storm is likely to make an appearance over Delhi by the end of the month. Until then no relief is likely from the Delhi heat.
