Take your umbrellas out as Delhi rains are all set to be back

Delhi rains were giving the residents that much needed relief from the prevailing weather conditions. So much so that the city had recorded a few very good spells of rain during that time. However, rainfall activity did take a backseat thereafter. In fact, the city has been witnessing hot weather conditions and rains remain far away.

However, rains are expected to make an appearance over Delhi once again. In fact, spot rains will continue over the national capital for the next 48 hours.

These conditions will be attributed to the axis of the Monsoon trough continues to run south of Delhi. Now, the system will move near Delhi during the next few days. During that time, rainfall activity is likely to pick up pace by July 29 and 30.

Thereafter, on and off rains will continue until August 2 as the axis of the Monsoon trough will be over the northern plains of India. Though heavy to very rains may not occur, both the rain intensity and frequency will increase in the coming days

Weather conditions will become pleasant wherein both day and night temperatures will witness a drop. Also, cloudy to overcast sky conditions will persist over the city during the aforementioned period.
