The national capital Delhi recorded 38°C as the maximum temperature on Sunday which is a couple of notches higher than 35.1°C recorded on Saturday. However, the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India suggests that the day temperature will drop tomorrow due to some clouds emanating from the Western Disturbance over Jammu & Kashmir and its associated cyclonic circulation over Punjab.
Some of the areas in the national capital may also witness post noon thunderstorm on Monday with chances of rain. This will come as a big relief from the hot weather. A period of rain in northwest India followed by resumption of northwesterly winds will again pull down the day temperature. According to the latest weather update, day temperatures in Delhi will settle in the range of 32 to 35°C Monday onwards.
According to the latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 20°C on Sunday which is also the highest morning temperature in Delhi till now. Minimum temperatures will remain in the same range for the next two days.
