As the start of February is as far as a day away, the Winter season seems to be bidding goodbye already. The summery weather in Delhi has started reflecting even before January has come to an end.
The second half of December saw very prolonged and intense Winter activities. As January comes to an end today, the accumulative weather data for January is out. Below is the table compiling the deviation of observed actual temperatures in comparison to that of the normal figures for the month.
The month of January on the other hand, saw a mix of weather conditions and the weather activities weren’t as harsh either. No prolonged weather spell was witnessed in January in the national capital. Also, the status of fog remained quite subdued and any dense fog lifted within a short time span.
If we look at the weather forecast for the next ten days, only some very weak weather systems are likely to approach Delhi NCR. Northwest Plains including Delhi will see chilly nights and warm days. No mist or thick fog is likely to appear for the next one week over the city.
