Summers are playing peekaboo in the city of Delhi already. All the major precursors to Summers, be it windy weather, fluctuation in day temperatures, clear day and plenty of sunshine, are being met.
While, the minimum temperatures were below normal by 5 degrees Celsius in Delhi, a few days before on February 11, they have risen by almost 8 degrees and were recorded at 13.7°C today.
Also, the maximum temperatures in Delhi were recorded at 27.8 degrees for February 14. This is the first day after November 27 that temperatures have gone above the 25-degree mark in Winters.
Going by the forecast, we expect similar weather conditions to prevail over the city for the next week or so. As strong winds are blowing over the region both minimum and maximum temperatures will fall by a few degrees in the next few days before picking up once again. The sky will remain mainly clear and sunny. The chances of fog formation in Delhi are quite low due to the blowing winds.
Delhi saw below normal temperatures in December and January, which even extended to the first few days of February. February has been free from weather activities till far despite being the rainiest month in Winters for the city.
