Whenever the country experiences heatwave conditions, people usually envy the residents of Bengaluru as they boast about the pleasant weather conditions all year long. But such is not the case anymore as Bengaluru has been witnessing hot weather conditions for quite sometime now.

Since no weather activity has been registered around the city for some time now, the temperatures have crossed the threshold of normalcy. The previous rainy spell lashed Bengaluru was on March 8, thereafter the weather has been dry.

Due to no significant weather system over the region, temperatures have seen an upward trend in Bengaluru. In fact, on March 26 Bengaluru witnesses highest maximum of the season with mercury touching 37°C.

Such hot weather conditions are observed over the region due to the winds from south and southeast direction. These winds are moist in nature and are relatively warmer. Thus, these winds are allowing the temperature to rise. The afternoon hours are possibly the worst time to be outside as the weather is expected to be hot and humid.

Such uneasy conditions are expected to continue over the region for the time being. When the days are excruciatingly hot, nights will come to rescue the residents of Bengaluru with cooler winds. The minimum temperatures are settling in the lower 20°Cs. This weather condition is expected to continue for next 3-4 days.
