Currently also, the maximum temperatures over here have been settling well above the normal levels. Yesterday, the maximum in Surat settled at 39.4 degrees, Surendrangar 38.7 degrees, Kandla 38.3 degrees, Mahuva 38.4 degrees, Deesa 38.4 degrees, Bhuj 38.4 degrees and Ahmedabad 37.4 degrees.
At present, northwesterly winds have been strengthening over the Gujarat region. This has occurred due to the passage of the Western Disturbance from the Western Himalayan region.
