Clear scorching sunny sky with hardly any clouding has become the major feature of the weather over most parts of South India. Intense summer heat with high rise of mercury has resulted heatwave to become a regular weather feature.
Although going by the books, Heatwave is seen in some parts of Rayalaseema, Telangana and North Tamil Nadu. And rest of the areas, the weather is hot. And the sad reality is that the weather is in no mood to make a pleasant shift.
Temperatures recorded in the region are mentioned below.
Such intense rise in mercury is seen due to the continuous blow of southerly winds. These winds are hot in nature but these winds are moisture laden. And thanks to these winds the discomfort in weather is starkly visible.
Any relief from this weather is very much unlikely as no major weather system is likely any time soon. Also, chances of change in wind pattern can prove to be very much fatal. The winds that is blowing now has moisture content, if northerly winds start blowing over the region then it will be very scary. The winds will be blowing from already heated Deccan region meaning more hot weather over the region.
