Now as well, we do not expect any rain over Mumbai for at least next 3 to 4 days. In fact, weather conditions are expected to remain sultry over the City of Dreams.
Meanwhile, a trough is expected to develop over Konkan and Goa around October 19 which may trigger isolated thunderstorm activity or light rains on October 20 and 21. However, these weather activities will be highly localized and will not be witnessed over the entire state. Therefore, Mumbaikars have to face warm, humid and uneasy weather conditions for some time.
In fact, weather in entire Maharashtra has been dry during most part of October. However, isolated light rains occurred over South Konkan and South Madhya Maharashtra. Now also, we expect these isolated rains to continue over South Konkan and South Madhya Maharashtra only.
