As predicted, rains have decreased over Mumbai and suburbs. During the last 24 hours, Santacruz observatory recorded 9 mm and Colaba recoded 9 mm of rain.
The cyclonic circulation, which was persistent over South Gujarat, has shifted north and now lies over Saurashtra and Kutch. The monsoon surge over Konkan and Goa has also weakened.
Now, there will be further decrease in rain activities over Mumbai and suburbs. Although during the next 24 hours, isolated moderate and intense spells may continue, but overall rain will decrease.
Weather is expected to go almost dry with isolated spot rains from July 21st. The temperatures will increase leading to sultry weather conditions once again over Mumbai and suburbs.
