Spring season from Delhi to disappear soon, mercury set to rise

After giving a relaxing and a pleasant Holiday weekend to Delhi residents, weather is now in a mood to take a u-turn. The cool and breezy spring season is likely to bid adieu a little too early to Delhi as mercury is set to set to rise, giving way to summer during the next few days. Weather in Delhi in likely to remain dry this week.

After the last Western Disturbance ditched Delhi and failed to give any rain or thundershower to the national capital city, the approaching WD is also expected to give a pass to Delhi and remain confined to the hills of North India.

The region is expected to get back to back Western Disturbance one on March 30-31 and the other on April 2-4. Due to these WDs, cool winds will get restricted and the temperatures will rise in Delhi and the adjoining NCR areas.

Though the sky will have patches of clouds, that won’t do much but only add to the discomfort. The cloud may be medium to high clouds which do not give rain or thundershower, so a relief from the high temperatures is off the table.

Day temperature is presently hovering around 30-31 degree Celcius that is expected to witness a marginal increase over the course of next few days. March, that began as miserably hot for Delhi is likely to end on a dry note for the national capital city.
