Rainy days had made their mark in Delhi, loud and clear during the last few days. In fact, the Delhi and the NCR region was witnessing good rains for the national capital for the last 48 hours. So much so that heavy rains had become a normal affair over the city.

During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Delhi had recorded a whopping 38 mm of rain. However, one thing that remained missing was the arrival of Monsoon 2017. Rains had been lashing the capital but Monsoon had not been declared.
However, after a long wait and a little delay, Southwest Monsoon has finally made its onset over Delhi and the NCR region. The entire Delhi and the NCR area is under the grip of Southwest Monsoon. Along with this, Monsoon has also covered more parts of Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, entire Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand along with more parts of Haryana.

Delhiites after a long wait will finally get the taste of Monsoon. The season of happiness with droplets of rain is here. However, the traffic jams and the waterlogged roads will also be accompanied with good rains. Now, Monsoon showers are likely to continue over the city for at least the next 24 hours.
