Respite from the sweltering heat and hot, humid weather has been witnessed in Delhi during past two days as pre-Monsoon rains continued to lash several parts of the national capital and NCR region. As Western Disturbance begins to hover over Jammu and Kashmir, moderate pre-Monsoon rain is expected in Delhi from 24th-26th June that will be conducive for Onset of Southwest Monsoon in Delhi and other parts of North India.
According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, next three days are expected to be packed with heavy pre-Monsoon rain in Delhi and adjoining areas of Delhi. At present, Southwest Monsoon is moving at a fast pace and is likely to cover North India in coming few days.

Delhi has been lucky in past two days as it witnessed weather that brought much needed relief from the summer heat. Pleasant weather, rain and thundershowers on Sunday were welcomed by Delhiites who took the weather as an opportunity to step out of homes and enjoy time with friends and family under a cloudy sky. The pre-Monsoon showers were also helpful in bringing down the temperature 4 notches below normal as it settled at 34.4°C.
A similar weather was observed on Monday as well, though the morning was sunny in comparison to the cloudy one on Sunday. Moreover, rain bestowed relief only in few places of Delhi yesterday.
