Southern parts of the country have not seen rains as the central parts were seeing rains. Now, it is the turn for northern regions to see some rains. As far as Peninsular India is concerned, the region has generally remained quiet. However, now, we can expect rains over these parts starting today.
In the coming days, we can see some good rains lashing parts of Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka etc. These showers will commence today and continue for the next four days. These rains will break the jinx of merely dry conditions which had been affecting the states in the last few days.
The reason for the rains can be attributed to the Cyclonic Circulation over central parts of Madhya Pradesh. From this system, a trough is running to the interiors of Tamil Nadu wherein small bubbles are also embedded over the trough. These showers may improve the rain stats of South India.
