Since Tuesday, the national capital has been witnessing a dense layer of smog. So much so that the ‘severe plus’, or we can say emergency, category of air pollution has been declared over the region. This smog will persists like a nightmare over Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram. Weathermen expect this situation to at least continue over the capital of the country for the coming days till the time winds strengthen over the region.
For the same concern, the state government is expected to arrive at a decision on odd-even scheme today that whether this scheme needs to be re-introduced to control the emissions from the vehicles.

While effects of the smog remains a major concern for Delhiites, some of the renowned celebs raised concerns about the prevailing critical situation.
I’m here for a few weeks for my shoot in Delhi but it’s disconcerting to see the city suffocating. We need to put politics and personal agendas aside stopping the blame game & come together to find a solution otherwise all of us are gonna be affected in more ways than we realise.

Rethink. Let’s change instead of blame. @adarpoonawalla has taken a great initiative let’s all try and keep our cities clean and recycle waste instead of burning it. pic.twitter.com/qzNJL5dWdq
