Delhi-NCR has been witnessing dry weather conditions from the past few days. The last spell of Monsoon rains was recorded on September 6 and since then, the national capital has not recorded any rainfall or thundershowers.

Further also, we do not expect any changes in the weather conditions over the national capital. Although, weather has become cloudy on Thursday but these clouds would not be capable of giving any significant rains and thundershowers.

According to Skymet Weather, moist easterly winds have been reaching over the city, resulting in cloudy weather. This available moisture can lead to localized developments but it would give few drops of rain only.

At present, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing through North Punjab to Northeast Bay of Bengal across North Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. A Western Disturbance is also persisting over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining North Pakistan. Both the weather systems will not have any impact over weather over Delhi-NCR.
