As far as rains, apart from the trace of rainfall on March 21, Delhi has remained dry joining the club of one of the driest March in a decade, the other two being in 2008 and 2010.

After heatwave conditions, there was some drop in the maximum temperatures over both the observatories with Palam settling at 37.4 degrees and Safdarjung recording 36.2 degrees. However, these temperatures were still 5 and 4 notches above normal, respectively.

Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, temperatures in the coming days may reach close to 40 degrees resulting in scorching weather conditions during the month of April.
